    About KV

In 2007, the Government of Kerala allocated 275 acres of land in Peringome to the ‘Recruit Training Centre, Peringome (RTC CRPF Peringome) to train recruit constables for the Central Reserve Police Force. On 10 August 2010, KV CRPF Peringome was established on a serene plot of land donated by RTC 3 CRPF Peringome, to cater primarily to the educational needs of the children of CRPF personnel and other transferrable government employees, while also serving the local community.
At present, the Vidyalaya operates from the independent barrack cottages provided and maintained by RTC 3 CRPF Peringome. In 2015, RTC CRPF Peringome leased 7.5 acres to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) for 99 years to construct a new school building equipped with modern infrastructure. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has taken up the construction project in 2023 and is likely to complete the building by 2025.
